Slums are where the poorest of the poor live in bad health conditions.a slum is where a town of the poorest people live with no good conditions at all.slums have a negative effect because they have poor houses , are really dirty , and are full of diseases that spread like wild fire. the main problem in slums are diseases that over run them.
